Normally, I’m not a book trailer/teaser kind of person. In fact, I don’t really like them. However, once and while there is one that catches my attention. Today, it was David Levithan’s teaser for Every Day. I read Every Day a few months ago, and, you guys, it’s phenomenal. It’s one of the best books I’ve ever read. David created such an unique and heartrending story. The book follows A, a teenager who wakes up in a different person’s body each day. He never stays longer than a day and never wakes up in the same body twice. A doesn’t know how or why he can do this; he just has always lived life like that.

In conjunction with the theme of the novel, David asked twenty three authors, including favorites John Green, James Dashner and Libba Bray, to read from Every Day in the teaser video. Unfortunately, I can’t embed the video here. Click here to watch the video on EW.com.

That is a boatload of authors! Here is the full list of writers who appeared in the video: Maggie Stiefvater, James Dashner, John Green, Eliot Schrefer,Corey Whaley, Brian Selznick, Ally Condie, Marie Lu, Garth Nix, Rachel Cohn, Ellen Hopkins, Elizabeth Eulberg, Nick Burd, Andrea Cremer, Scott Westerfeld, Melissa Walker, Tara Altebrando, Kieran Scott, Courtney Sheinmel, Adele Griffin, Deborah Heiligman, Libba Bray.

Every Day releases on Tuesday, August 28th. I urge you to buy it. It really is incredible and definitely something you don’t want to miss.

Are you excited to read Every Day?
