Catching Fire Update!: Amanda Plummer cast as Wiress

Last week, Lionsgate let it slip that Philip Seymour Hoffman had been cast as Plutarch Heavensbee in the greatly anticipated sequel to this year’s box office hit The Hunger Games. Today, Lionsgate released some more casting news for avid fans of the franchise; Amanda Plummer has been cast as the eccentric Wiress, a former winner of the Hunger Games.

Plummer is a veteran of both film and stage and will most certainly play the part of Wiress to perfection.

The Hunger Games: Catching Fire is set to release November 22, 2013
