Paul McCartney, of both The Beatles and Wings, is teaming up with one of the most well known game developers in the industry.  Bungie, known around the world for creating the critically acclaimed Halo franchise, is reportedly working with McCartney on the soundtrack for their latest video game. A quote and photo were recently published on his Facebook page, showing Martin O’Donnell, the original composer of Halo’s memorable score. Bungie’s next game, although yet unannounced, is rumored to still reside in the Sci-Fi/Fantasy genre like their previous franchise. It’s hard telling what exactly McCartney’s role is in Bungie’s next project but I’d consider myself  very intrigued. Paul McCartney has dipped his toes into the gaming industry before, being involved in the Beatles version of Rock Band, but this is something completely different and new for him. As odd of a partnership as this might be, I’m sure we can expect nothing but good things out of the process.
