Bethesda Softworks continues to release more media on their game Dishonored, currently in development by Arkane Studios. One of their latest trailers, entitled ‘Daring Escapes,’ shows off the versatility that comes with the vast repertoire of special skills and powers that the protagonist, Corvo, has at his disposal. The trailer showcases three powers from Corvo’s arsenal: Blink, Bend Time, and Possession. The game also looks a little bit smoother in these demos than in some of the original trailers. Once you get the hang of how to successfully use your powers, I’m sure that Dishonored’s world will be immensely rewarding to navigate. If you just want the basic idea, Dishonored blends both stealth and action alongside a very dreary, hopeless world. The protagonist of the story, Corvo, has been framed for the murder of the empress, whom he had served faithfully as one of her bodyguards. Now he is a wanted man, on the run from the both the law and society itself. Tasked with seeking justice and vengeance upon those responsible, the player is faced with a multitude of tactical and ethical decisions, resulting in uniquely different approaches to gameplay.
