Assassin’s around the world can now rejoice. GameStop has just announced the very first, mass produced replica of the famous hidden blade. A key trademark of the entire franchise, the hidden blade has become synonymous with the depiction of any respectable assassin. Players and fans will now be able to live out their epic fantasies of stealth and vengeance, albeit in the form of plastic rather than steel. The blade is spring loaded just like the real thing and extends to 15 inches in length. This replica will set you back 40 bucks, but that seems more than reasonable considering the hundreds of dollars that some custom-made blades cost. Visit the GameStop website to preorder your very own hidden blade, scheduled to be released alongside Assassin’s Creed III on October 30th. Check it out after the jump!

  1. Will this blade be legit? As in real metal and usable to stab/cut things? I know it sounds weird but why buy a weapon that has no use?

  2. "in the form of plastic rather than steel." And it's a replica haha, last time I checked GameStop didn't sell weapons.

  3. Is it retractable?

  4. how many cost it?

  5. Just one thing that sucks…you have to push the blade back in yourself and push a button for the blade release -.- such a let down.

  6. It sells for 40 dollars and its a good model
