Video Game News: Check out the trailer for ‘The Amazing Spider-Man’

If you’re far too amped about The Amazing Spider-Man to wait until July 3^rd to catch the web-slinger’s return to the big screen, you’re in luck. Activision plans to unleash The Amazing Spider-Man video game on June 26^th to help tide you over and, hopefully, to wet your appetites for the new franchise.

In this installment, gamers can play as Spidey as he soars throughout Manhattan all while discovering the untold story of Peter Parker. A numerous number of classic Spider-Man big-bads make an appearance in the game: Felicia Hardy, Lizard, Vermin, and Scorpion are all included and are to be sure to give Spider-Man a lot of trouble.

Check out the trailer to get a sense of what you’re in store for. The Amazing Spider-Man will be released on Xbox 360, PlayStation 3, and Nintendo consoles.
