If you guys have been keeping up with Bloc Party this must be great news!
As some of you know, Kele Okereke, the lead singer of Bloc Party, ventured in 2010 on a solo career with his album “The Boxer” and with it’s follow-up “The Hunter“, so that seemed to be working out for him. Do any of you remember the rumours about the rest of the members of Bloc Party auditioning for a new lead singer?  Well just to refresh your memory, the deal apparently was that Bloc Party was going to part ways from Kele after the band went to a recording studio without telling him. To be honest, I thought the band will never get back together,  however, Kele confirmed on BBC’s Radio 1 that he’s working with Bloc Party for their upcoming album that will be released later this year. Kele confirmed to Zane Lowe from BBC’s Radio 1 that the band has already demoed 17 songs and so far recorded 2 songs.

So it must be pretty official that Bloc Party will be recording their 4th studio album!!
