After a bit of debate, the party decided to put their new transit passes to use by heading on over to Tinker Town – center of gnomes and halflings in the city. There they were told to go to a place called The Powderkeg to meet up with a guy called Blacklung to discuss a potential heist opportunity.
Sure enough, they strolled through the doll-sized, cinnamon-scented town to find the firework shack that is The Powderkeg where they met Alvyn Blacklung and his little telepathic mushroom friend, the Fun Guy. Alvyn gave them the rundown: in four days, the grand inventor and master of the Bureau of Transit, Sumee, will open the doors to his Clockwork Castle and host a massive party, and during this party, Sumee will be exchanging some weapon schematics. Alvyn wants our heroes to steal those schematics because they’ll help him create potent killing machines he calls “guns.”
But before they can do anything about that, our heroes will have to commit the greatest of D&D sins and split the party so that everyone can score an invite to the posh affair. Ori will take to the Bazaar to talk to a wealthy dragonborn. Karnov and Merit will try to court the favor of the great musician, Ziggy Starchild. Alexandrus will try becoming a religious envoy from the Holy Concordance. And as for Flint? Well, he’s gonna try his luck at becoming champion of the Hall of War’s fight club.
