When Glee dedicates one of its episodes to music from one of pop’s most influential artists, you know it’s going to be an awesome show. “Brittany/Britney” was amazing! This episode showcased some of Britney Spears most popular singles.
In a series of dentist visits, each of the Glee kids has a Britney Spears fantasy under anesthesia. Brittany begins to have identity issues. (No surprise there.) Oh, did I tell you the dentist is Emma’s new boyfriend? He also sort of resembles the guy who played Uncle Jessie in “Full House.” Will gets jealous and tries to impress Emma by buying a new car and performing with the kids in the “Toxic” number. The “Toxic” number was brilliant! The best Britney cover on the show!
Ms. Britney Spears graced us with her presence in the episode twice. First during “Me Against the Music” dressed as Madonna and later as a Cheerio!
The ending was amazing. Much to everyone’s surprise, it didn’t end with a Britney song but a Paramore song. Rachel sings “The Only Exception” to Finn in one of the sweetest moments between the two in the entire series so far.
All in all, another classic Glee episode! If you missed it, what’s wrong with you? (I think Sue Sylvester is rubbing off on me.)
…Oh, by the way, I was being sarcastic above; John Stamos does guest star. :)

I was….. I couldn’t even… yeah. It was so amazing. If you’re a true Britney fan you would understand what I’m going through. Britney as a cheerleader KILLED ME!
Artie performing “Stronger” was too much! I was not expecting them to perform that song! One of my favorite Britney songs ever!
I was laughing throughout the episode because of all the funny references, like for example,:
Brittany’s real name is Brittany S. Pierce, oddly enough lol.

John Stamos is the hottest dentist out there. And I can’t wait to get my anesthesia on, seriously, if I had such vivid and cool dreams as the Glee kids, I’d be the first one at the dentist tomorrow!
“Leave Brittany alone!” – Epic reference to Chris Crocker, the youtuber who became famous after his video defending Britney.
“Is this real life?” – LMAO! “David After Dentist” kid should be proud his quote was on Glee!
And I agree with Gaby, that “Toxic” number was THE BEST! No, more like the whole episode was AMAZING!
