Conflicts are abound this week as our heroes create tensions with various foes… and with each other.
Flint, the battle-hardened dwarf, faces off against the champion of the fight club, Domination: a tiefling paladin and fellow adventurer of the Dragon’s Dungeon. It is a tough fight – a clashing of competent combatants for the prize of a magic ring and the prestige of being the top fighter in the Hall of War. Will our favorite fighter persevere? Either way, he’s sure going to establish a rivalry with this Domination and her Team Fireball.
Meanwhile, Alexandrus has his own rivalry to contend with, that of the vengeful undead man, Felix Thorncutter. The two clash in a construction zone, and our cleric might just divine he’s fending off a foe stronger than anything else he’s encountered. But luckily, there is a mysterious woman who seems to be invested in what he and the rest of the party does next.
But then we come to Merit and Karnov – our party’s very own Pinky and the Brain. After witnessing a deadly shootout between rival syndicates in the city, they return to The Dragon’s Dungeon and try to rally the rest of the party to help them resolve the matter of their captured friend Ziggy Starchild… and the death warrant out for them if they don’t. The rest of the party might have strong opinions about their actions, but at the very least, they’re willing to reunite and go on their next mission: delve into the sewers to recover a magic staff from a tentacle monster and exchange the staff for Ziggy. What will these crazy crusaders get up to next?
