Nintendo Announces Pokémon Remakes Omega Ruby and Alpha Sapphire

Nintendo has officially announced the newest entry in their long running Pokémon franchise. Pokémon Omega Ruby and Pokémon Alpha Sapphire will arrive November 2014 on the Nintendo 3DS and are remakes of Pokémon Ruby and Pokémon Sapphire for the Game Boy Advance. After the success of Pokémon X and Pokémon Y, this is a cool direction for Nintendo to take the franchise in. Their previous remakes Fire Red and Leaf Green were a fun way to re-experience the original games and this could do a similar thing for Ruby and Sapphire.
