Todd also announced new content and improvements to the popular mobile game, Fallout Shelter. Updates will feature new locations, new characters, and a brand new combat system. The game will also be coming to PC.

The final announcement was a special edition of the beloved Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim. DOOM recently released to incredible reviews. The lackluster multiplayer, however, drew some criticism. id Software took notice and has taken multiplayer back from the outsourced studio that helped shape it. Fans can look forward to future content updates featuring new tools for creating snapmaps, new construction modules, weapons, items,  and logic options, allowing users to create true single player experiences.

There will be 2 new modes releasing next month: Exodus (one flag capture to flag) and Sector (capture and hold).

The first DLC for DOOM, Unto the Evil, will include 3 maps, a new demon, new gun, armor sets, taunts, and more.

For a limited time the first level from the single player campaign of DOOM will be free on all platforms for the remainder of the week.

Elder Scrolls Online has over 7 million users to date. Bethesda promises to add more content in the near future, including the Dark Brotherhood DLC which releases this Tuesday, June 13th.

Their big announcement for the evening was “One Tamriel.” This new project eliminates level restrictions on all quests and other types of content. As soon as you step into the world of ESO you will be able to travel anywhere and do anything. This is the first time that this has ever been done in an online MMORPG.

The virtual reality takeover is growing ever nearer. Bethesda announced Bethesda VR, partnering with HTC Vive, in order to bring the VR experience to both DOOM and Fallout 4.

Bethesda closed out their event with an in game look at Dishonored 2. If anyone hasn’t played the original Dishonored you are doing yourself a disservice. A custom engine, Void, is used in order to achieve the game’s unique visuals and level design. Missions can be completed through a variety of approaches utilizing weapons and powers that cater to any type of play style.

There are new skill trees for both protagonists, Corvo and Emily. One of the unique abilities shown was a power called domino, in which enemies are linked together and share the same fate, whatever that might be. The game releases later this year on November 11th.
