James Cameron and Jon Landau: Question and Answer Session

Just a few hours ago, James Cameron and Jon Landau were at a Best Buy at Union Square (in New York City) promoting the 3D release of the Titanic. The duo (who have worked together in such films like Avatar, Solaris, Big Kids, and most importantly, Titanic) had a question and answer session in which they spilled their secrets about the making of the movie and also the upcoming Avatar 2.

James Cameron himself has written some of the most well known movies of all time, including Aliens, The Terminator, The Abyss, Rambo: First Blood, and the Titanic. He has won three Academy Awards (one of which he shared with Landau) and boasts the record for the sole movie (movies really, after his success on Avatar) to surpass the one billion dollar mark.

Jon Landau has continued to produce with James Cameron’s work and has even produced Dick Tracy and Honey, I Shrunk the Kids. He won his Oscar with Cameron for the Titanic  and has even produced several documentaries with Cameron about the deep sea dives and what they had discovered while working on the movie. (Fun fact- James Cameron has been on so many deep sea dives to visit the Titanic site, that he has actually spent more time with the ship than the actual passengers have).

The question and answer session will be up soon, but for now, enjoy a few videos and pictures from the event. And if James Cameron and/or Jon Landau are reading this (like you promised! And yes, I was so excited that I was speaking too fast and said websicle instead of website), I would be greatly honored and privileged to get the chance to interview you guys for the site. (Just don’t forget to email!)
