Interview: Sabaah Folayan and Damon Davis for ‘Whose Streets?’

It is now the 3 year anniversary of Michael Brown’s murder at the hands of the Ferguson police department and the effects are still felt. With the continued cases of police brutality, it’s important to remember that the fight is far from over. Whose Streets? takes a look at the origins of the Black Lives Matter movement and how it affected not only the community but also an entire nation. I sat down with Whose Streets?  directors Sabaah Folayan and Damon Davis about Black Lives Matter, the problems with Liberals, being a true ally and so much more! This is easily one of my favorite interviews not only because of how passionate they were but especially how candid and insightful the conversation turned out. You’ll learn so much you probably didn’t know, but should,  especially if you call yourself an ally.
