Many predicted that Christopher Nolan will cast Marion Cotillard in his final Batman movie, The Dark Knight Rises, and it looks like everyone predicted correctly! According to Entertainment Weekly, Cotillard will join the cast that includes Christian Bale, Anne Hathaway, Gary Oldman, and BAFTA’s new rising star Tom Hardy. It is unknown who Cotillard will play. Nolan has mentioned that he was casting two lead female roles for the movie. Anne Hathaway got the other and will play Selina Kyle (aka Catwoman).
Cotillard is pregnant at the moment and is reportedly expecting sometime in the spring. What do you think of Cotillard’s addition to Nolan’s exceptional cast? I, for one, I’m very happy with these news!
