Deadline.com reports that Ben Affleck is in talks to join “The Great Gatsby” book adaptation movie directed by Baz Luhrmann. Here at TheYoungFolks.com we just simply LOVE the cast of the movie which includes: Leonardo DiCaprio who plays the main character, Jay Gatsby, Tobey Maguire will play Jim Carraway, Carey Mulligan is Daisy Buchanan and if Ben Affleck decides to join the film he would be playing the part of Tom Buchanan, Daisy’s husband.
For me, Lucyinthesky, I love the book and I’m pretty sure that with this fabulous cast and director the movie will be great. I’m not too happy about the movie being 3D, but what can you do? I just hope that everything works out well and hopefully Affleck decides to join! *crosses fingers*
