Watch: Colin Firth and Nicole Kidman in ‘The Railway Man’

The Railway Man

The 2013 Toronto International Film Festival is sure packed with some great films this year. One of them is ‘The Railway Man‘, upcoming drama/war film directed by Australian Jonathan Teplitzky and starring Colin Firth and Nicole Kidman. It premiered last Friday, September 6th on the Festival and already it’s generating a lot of buzz.

The film is based on the true story of Eric Lomax, a World War II British veteran with a psychological trauma who tracks down the man who tortured him.  Just earlier today it was announced that The Weintsein Co. is acquiring U.S. rights to the film, so we can expect to see it in cinemas soon. Jeremy Irvine, Stellan Skarsgard, Hiroyuki Sanada and Tanroh Ishida also star.
