Watch: New Clips & Interviews in ‘The Fault In Our Stars’ First Featurette

In between showings of Divergent this weekend, you should check out this sweet little featurette on Shailene Woodley’s next YA movie, The Fault In Our Stars.

Even though I wasn’t the biggest fan of the Divergent movie, I am excited to see Shailene Woodley and Ansel Elgort reunite on the big screen as the tragic and loving pair, Hazel Grace Lancaster and Augustus Waters. Watch the two stars, along with TFIOS author John Green, talk about the film, and see some new footage.

Knowing that John Green is in FULL support of this movie does give me an inkling of hope that one of my favorite books hasn’t been turned into a cliched, Nicholas-Sparks-like sobfest. I want this to be the kind of sobfest that earns all of those tears. Maybe its that hope that is making these promos look better than they really are… or maybe they are actually as cute as I see them. Either way, I think The Fault In Our Stars is something to look forward to this summer, among all the bombastic blockbusters.

The Fault In Our Stars follows Hazel and Gus, two extraordinary teenagers who share an acerbic wit, a disdain for the conventional, and a love that sweeps them — and us – on an unforgettable journey. Their relationship is all the more miraculous, given that they met and fell in love at a cancer support group. Based upon the number-one bestselling novel by John Green, The Fault In Our Stars explores the funny, thrilling and tragic business of being alive and in love.

The Fault In Our Stars opens in theaters on June 6, 2014.
