‘Alexander and the Terrible, Horrible, No Good, Very Bad Day’ First Trailer

Alexander and the Terrible trailer

Think you are having a bad day? After watching the first trailer for Disney’s Alexander and the Terrible, Horrible, No Good, Very Bad Day, you will think about it twice.  The film – an adaptation of the 1972 classic children’s book of the same name written by Judith Viorst – is directed by Spirit Award winner Miguel Arteta and stars Steve Carell, Jennifer Garner, Dylan Minnette, Kerris Dorsey, Ed Oxenbould, Megan Mullally, Jennifer Coolidge and Bella Thorne.

Sadly, this is the kind of trailer that tells the whole story in just two and a half minutes. Nevertheless, it looks quite enjoyable. In case you are not familiar with the 1972 story (like me), the film “follows the exploits of 11-year-old Alexander (Ed Oxenbould) as he experiences the most terrible and horrible day of his young life — a day that begins with gum stuck in his hair, followed by one calamity after another“. This takes the phrase “I’m having a bad day” to a new level.

The film will open in October 10th, but in the meantime, check out the trailer below. Do you still think you are having a horrible day?
