New Trailer: Pierce Brosnan Puts His Spy Shoes Back On In “The November Man”

It’s been more than a decade since we saw Pierce Brosnan decked out in his classic tuxedo, sipping on a martini (preferably shaken), and telling people his last name before his full name as, legendary MI-6 agent, James Bond. It was 2002, to be exact, and “Die Another Die” failed to wow audiences due to lame-duck story and seeming lack of interest from its actors, including Pierce Brosnan. Since then, Pierce has been getting older, and, thus, has found himself picking projects that are less of a strain on his body. His most strenuous body of work lately has been to play the role of a thief in a couple of movies, but, other than that, we’ve seen a few comedies and even a musical.

Well, it seems that Pierce was getting bored of all that, and he’s finally decided to strap himself with a gun and get ready to get flung around via pyrotechnics, cause he’s ready to put his spy shoes back on and make an impact on the summer movie season once more. As promised The Young Folks brings you the debut trailer for “The November Man”, a much darker look into the world of spies than Pierce Brosnan is used to.

The official synposis:

An ex-CIA operative is brought back in on a very personal mission and finds himself pitted against his former pupil in a deadly game involving high level CIA officials and the Russian president-elect.

The film is directed by Roger Donaldson (“The Bank Job”, “Species”) and stars Pierce Brosnan, Olga Kurylenko (007 Film “Quantum of Solace), and Luke Bracey (“G.I. Joe: Retaliation”). It opens in theaters nationwide on August 27th.
