Hitting theaters today is The Guest, the new thriller from director Adam Wingard and writer Simon Barrett, who were behind You’re Next from last year. The story is about a soldier who introduces himself to the Petersons, claiming to be a friend of their son who died in action. After the young soldier is welcomed into their home, his presence becomes a threat to everybody around him. The film stars Dan Stevens, Sheila Kelley, Maika Monroe, Leland Orser, Lance Reddick, and more. I sat down with director Adam, writer Simon, and English actor Dan Stevens to chat about the plot, Dan Stevens’s physical transformation, the reason they picked Dan, their upcoming projects, and more.
