Who’s ready for some EXTREME LAW BREAKING?!?!?!? Last night, Warner Bros. Pictures and Alcon Entertainment released the first poster and trailer for the remake Point Break.

The remake of the 1991 action caper features FBI agent Johnny Utah (Luke Bracey, The November Man) using his passion for extreme sports to infiltrate a group of international criminals who carry out jobs in *ahem* elaborate fashion. When Utah forms a bond with the leader of the group named Bodhi (Edgar Ramirez, Deliver Us from Evil), he has to choose between enforcing the laws of the government or, as Bodhi quips, realizing that, “The only law that matters is gravity,” and live life on the edge.

Point Break was originally announced in 2011 and has been filming around the world through 2014. The film is directed by Ericson Core (Invincible) and written by Kurt Wimmer (Equilibrium, 2012’s remake of Total Recall). Along with Luke Bracey as Johnny Utah (originally played by Keanu Reeves) and Edgar Ramirez as Bodhi (originally played by the late Patrick Swayze), the film also stars Teresa Palmer (Warm Bodies) as the sexy love interest and Ray Winstone (The Departed) as Utah’s supervisor Angelo Pappas (originally played by Gary Busey).

The trailer itself features tidbits of the wild stunts the criminal group performs, including releasing an entire cube of money into the air after pushing it out of a plane and levying a mine to extract the gold from it. The trailer has more focus on the exotic locations and the extreme stunts than the actual characters. Core, also a cinematographer, shoots the movie with a grayish-green color backing. Here’s to seeing at least one cameo from the “Ex-Presidents” robbing a bank.
Point Break hits theaters December 25, 2015
