This island adventure stars Dwayne Johnson, who will play the strong demi-god Maui. John Musker and Ron Clements are the directors for the film, while producer Osnat Shurer is producing it, which makes for a dynamic and strong team. A sneak peak of what fans can expect was revealed during this presentation, as well as the plans for the music. Having been a fan of Disney’s music and storytelling, I can only imagine how amazing the final product will turn out.

The movie focuses on the tale of a teenager, Moana, and her journey to becoming a master wayfinder. She is strong, independent, and adventurous. Seeing how Disney did a marvelous job portraying a pair a strong ladies in Frozen, there is no doubt that Moana will prove to be nothing but fearless and spirited. This strong-willed teenager sets out on a quest to fulfill what her ancestors could not and with the help of Maui, this voyage will be quite the daring adventure.

Moana hits theaters on November 23, 2016.
