There were so many great films at this year’s 51st Chicago International Film Festival. There were of course the major motion pictures that were part of it, like Macbeth, Carol, Anomalisa, Brooklyn, The Assassin and more. More importantly, the festival celebrates films made domestically as well as in other countries, usually with a smaller budget. The competition was a tough one this year, but here are the winners of this year’s festival.
