Walt Disney Studios Releases Two Teaser Trailers for ‘Alice Through the Looking Glass’

It’s time to go back, but not down a rabbit hole this time.

On Sunday, Walt Disney Studios released brand new footage from its upcoming feature film Alice Through the Looking Glass in a 10 second teaser trailer. Disney posted the clip on all of their social media accounts. The clip shows Mia Wasikowska falling out of a door in the sky. The official plot for upcoming sequel to the 2010 live-action hit Alice in Wonderland has not yet been revealed, but several of our favorite characters will make a second appearance. Wasikowska returns as our beloved heroine and is joined by Johnny Depp as the Mad Hatter, Helena Bonham Carter as the Red Queen, and Anne Hathaway as the White Queen. New to the franchise are Sacha Baron Cohen as Time and Rhys Ifan as the Mad Hatter’s father.

The film will be directed by James Bobin (Muppets Most Wanted) and Tim Burton will serve as a producer this around.

Alice Through the Looking Glass is set to hit theaters May 27, 2016.

Today, Disney releases another teaser showing Wasikowska watch a blue butterfly (who I’m assuming is Absolum) fly into a mirror and disappear. Check it out below:
