Happy New Year everyone! Let’s start 2016 watching some great films…and in this case, trailers! Just a few months ago we showed you the teaser trailer for Zootopia, Disney Animation’s upcoming film about animals living in a civilized world. On December 31, Disney released a second trailer for the film, giving us a more complete taste on what to expect from this di-fur-ent animal world.
Co-directed by Byron Howard and Rich Moore, Zootopia tells the story of rookie Officer Judy Hopps, the first bunny member of the police force that must solve a mystery to prove herself, with the help of scam-artist fox, Nick Wilde. In the trailer, it’s funny to see how the film will mix our everyday human jobs with animal behavior. Take for example, sloths working at the DMV. The film includes the voices of Idris Elba, Ginnifer Goodwin, Alan Tudyk, Jason Bateman, J.K. Simmons, Bonnie Hunt, Octavia Spencer and Shakira.
And yes, in case you were wondering, that is Shakira singing in the back of the trailer. The song “Try Everything” is going to be part of the film’s soundtrack.
