2015 New York City International Film Festival

There a number of festivals in the film industry that are dedicated to a certain aspect of film production: be it the writers, actors, directors, producers, or more. However, there are rarely any that focus on the entire aspect of filmmaking and are ready to offer any help for its winners in terms in film distribution, VOD rights, press coverage, advertising, and more.

And here comes the NYCIFF. The sixth annual New York City International Film Festival took place from May 1st to May 7th at the DGA Theater in New York. By encouraging filmmakers all over the world to submit to the festival, it gives talented people the chance to showcase their work to a deserving audience, thus getting proper feedback as well as having a perfect chance to network.

There were a number of short and feature films that premiered and were shown at the festival, and with them, came a number of actors and directors presenting the films. Peter Bodganovich, Thomas Brodie-Sangster, and Rebecca Romijn were all in attendance for the premiere of Phantom Halo, while William Shatner presented the film Chaos on the Bridge.
