From November 11 to 13, TheYoungFolks.com’s music editor Ryan Gibbs and contributing photographer Megan Phelps attended the Rhode Island Comic Con in Providence, Rhode Island. Throughout the next few days, we will be posting coverage, photos and panel audio from the convention.

Christian Slater has been a staple of films and television since 1985, when he made his silver screen debut in The Legend of Billie Jean. Since then, he has taken iconic roles in films such as Heathers (1989), Pump Up the Volume (1990), Robin Hood: Prince of Thieves (1991), True Romance (1993), Interview with the Vampire (1994) and The Contender (2000). Recently, he has gained prominence as the title character on the hit USA Network psychological thriller series Mr. Robot, a role which landed him his first Golden Globe.

Slater spoke about many of these roles and more at his Q&A panel at this year’s Rhode Island Comic Con in Providence, Rhode Island. Following a brief discussion with panel moderator and Buffy the Vampire Slayer actress Clare Kramer, Slater took questions from the audience that spanned his entire career.
