As a part of the deluge of film TV spots released during the Super Bowl, we have received another look at what appears to be the final Transformers movie helmed by Michael Bay, though that’s been said before. The plot for The Last Knight continues to be mostly obscured in favor of sticking to multiple action scenes. Even so, we can gleam some hints about what to expect; primarily the title fight between Optimus Prime (Peter Cullen) and Bumblebee seems to be caused by some sort of corruption of Prime.
Additionally, while it does seem like the new invading force will take the primary role as villains; there does appear to be humans also running against the human heroes (a returning Mark Wahlberg and Isabela Moner.) Josh Duhamel also returns from the first set of films and joins Sir Anthony Hopkins as an Oxford professor asking the ever important question of the spot: “Why do they keep coming here?” Whatever the answer to that question ends up being, it will definitely involve explosions and destruction.
