Armie Hammer stars in thriller film Mine

Armie Hammer is getting ready for his first solo film. Is he up for the challenge? Will he raise the bar James Franco or Tom Hardy set in 127 Hours and Locke? Just a few days ago, the trailer for the upcoming thriller Mine was released and it is looking very intriguing.

The film, written and directed by Italian power duo Fabio Guaglione and Fabio Resinaro, tells the story of Mike Stevens (Hammer), a U.S. soldier who must survive 52 hours alone and motionless in the dessert filled with 33 million landmines after a planned assassination backfires. The two-minute trailer shows some intense scenes and some mind blowing desert cinematography. I’ve always seen Hammer as one of those actors who still has to show his true potential in films.

Also starring Annabelle Wallis, Tom Cullen and Juliet Aubrey, Mine is set to open in theaters and On Demand on April 7. Watch the trailer below and let us know what you think in the comments!
