You know we love the Oscars, but we can’t help but admit that sometimes the Oscar ceremony can be a real drag. So instead of boringly live-blogging the night’s winners… Let’s have a party! Due to financial constraints, we obviously can’t fly all our readers to one place to party. So, we’re hosting an Oscars Twitter Party!
And what better way to celebrate Hollywood’s biggest night of the year than with some free Amazon money to buy your favorite movies? During the show, we will be livetweeting from @TYFofficial the Oscar winners and you know, happenings of the Academy Awards. Share your thoughts (and snark) with us and others on this year’s show and winners as they happen!
However, if you want to win free Amazon giftcards, you must be following us on Tumblr (theyoungfolksblog.tumblr.com)! We will post 3 code words over there during the ceremony,and you will NEED to reply to us on Twitter with that exact code and the hashtag #TYFoscars. Whoever does it first, wins the gift card! We will be doing a giveaway at the beginning, middle and end of the show. We will hint a couple of minutes before the next gift card giveaway comes up.
