For the first time since 1993, we’re being invited back to Isla Nublar.

The first official trailer for Jurassic World has hit the web, and if it’s any indication, we’re all doomed for the sake of science.

Twenty-two years after the events of Jurassic Park, Isla Nublar now features a fully functioning dinosaur theme park, Jurassic World, as originally envisioned by John Hammond, originally played by Richard Attenborough (may he rest in peace, that joyful man).

This first trailer reveals quite a few things about the upcoming film:

1.Isla Nublar has basically turned into Disney World…

2. Or maybe Sea World, as the trailer confirms the long hinted at aquatic dwelling beast, displaying a multi ton liopleurodon, or something, as though it were Shamu.

3. The God Complex metaphor is continued in the series by means of the mysterious hybrid dinosaur that InGen laboratories have come up with

4. The park’s creatures have continued to be bred as female. They’re sure this time, they went and lifted all the dinosaurs’ skirts.

5. No sign of any of the old cast including Sam Neill, Laura Dern, or Jeff Goldblum. However we will see the return of doctor Henry Wu, played by BD Wong.

The film will star Guardians of the Galaxy’s Chris Pratt, The Help’s Bryce Dallas Howard, New Girl’s Jake Johnson, Vincent D’Onofrio, Judy Greer, and Irrfan Khan.

Directed by Colin Trevorrow (Safety Not Guaranteed), produced by Steven Spielberg, and written by Rick Jaffa and Amanda Solver (Rise of the Planet of the Apes, Dawn of the Planet of the Apes).

The park will be open on June 12, 2015
