Finally! It’s here! Ever since I heard about this movie, many months before production even started, I was very excited for it. Not only was Leo DiCarprio and Clint Eastwood going to finally work together, but it was about an individual who I always thought was fascinating, J. Edgar Hoover. The supporting cast (Armie Hammer, Naomi Watts, Judi Dench, etc) is amazing, and I’m glad the trailer gives us a glimpse of their brilliance. I love dark look of the film. It’s reminiscent of Changeling & Mystic River. This is what Eastwood does best. Plus, Dustin Lance Black wrote the script. If you don’t remember, he won an Oscar a few years ago for his screenplay for Milk. Definitely Oscar bait, huh?
