WATCH: The Official ‘Paper Towns’ Movie Trailer

o-PAPER-TOWNS-POSTER-570After a “Follow the M on the Map” teaser campaign on Instagram, the Paper Towns theatrical trailer debuted on The Today Show this morning. Paper Towns, based on the New York Times bestselling John Green novel of the same name, is brought to us by the same screenwriting team behind last year’s The Fault in Our Stars, Scott Neustadter and Michael H. Weber.

Quentin Jacobsen (Nat Wolff) has been in love with his neighbor Margo Roth Spiegelman (Cara Delevingne) since childhood. However, they’ve been leading completely separate high school lives—that is, until Margo visits Quentin’s room one night, requesting his help with a revenge plot against her cheating boyfriend. After a night of adventure, pranks, and some minor breaking and entering, Margo disappears completely, leaving clues for Quentin to follow in order to find her.

According to Director Jake Schreier Paper Towns is, “A movie for teenagers and for people who used to be teenagers.” Considering the story has a lot of humor, an extremely well-thought-out plot for teen vengance, and a high school road trip, I’m thinking he’s right.

Paper Towns premieres in theaters July 24, 2015.
