The year was 2005. It was the year when Robert Rodriguez and Frank Miller presented the groundbreaking cult film Sin City. Nine years have passed and the follow up for the film has finally come. Just a few minutes ago a new trailer – or a shorter version of a trailer – was released for Sin City: A Dame to Kill For.
The film is set for release on August 22nd and it brings back stars such as Mickey Rourke, Jessica Alba, Bruce Willis, Rosario Dawson, Powers Boothe and Jaime King alongside the newbies Eva Green, Josh Brolin, Joseph Gordon-Levitt, Ray Liotta, Dennis Haysbert, Juno Temple , Alexa Vega, Christopher Meloni, Lady Gaga, Stacy Keach and Jeremy Piven. That’s quite a cast, don’t you think?
In this new spot, fans get a little more plot info of the film: Ray Liotta’s vengance towards Ava Lord (Eva Green) and the return of Nancy (Jessica Alba) dealing with Hartigan’s (Bruce Willis) death. But enough talk! Watch the 60-second trailer below!
