Paramore release new single, prepare new album

Three years after the release of their self-titled fourth album, Paramore is back with new music

The Tennessee trio released their new single “Hard Times” earlier this morning, as well as its retro-styled video directed by Andrew Joffe. The song is the first to be released from their fifth album After Laughter, which will be released on May 12 through the band’s longtime label Fueled By Ramen. The album is their first in ten years without bassist Jeremy Davies, but also marks the return of co-founder and drummer Zac Farro, who returned to the band late last year.

The band has also announced a slate of European tour dates for this summer to support the album. No North American dates have been announced.

After Laughter can be pre-ordered through the band’s website on CD and digital download.
