HIGHLIGHTS OF THE NIGHT

Lady Gaga’s entrance: Yup. Lady Gaga, as per usual, made an statement while entering the Grammys inside an egg that was carried by four men. Everyone I know was in a WTF moment LOL.

Arcade Fire takes it back to Canada: Arcade Fire win Album of The Year and more than one was surprised. I had money on Eminem’s “Recovery” taking it after receiving 10 nominations, I guess appearances can deceive!

Cee-Lo Green and Gwyneth Paltrow performing together: The stage was full of  The Puppets, and Cee-Lo was Big Bird. Was this the bird inside Lady Gaga’s egg? We don’t know. But we loved their performance of “Forget You”!

Esperanza Spalding winning Best New Artist: America headed over to Google, YouTube, Wikipedia, and try to find out why first: no one has ever heard of this girl before; and two: how good is her music that made her win over other nominees like Drake or Florence + The Machine. I had heard of Esperanza before, randomly to be honest, one day while I was on  YouTube watching videos, I liked her voice and it was a different sound. But I had to admit it was very shocking to see her win! Hopefully with this award and now that more people know who she is, she will comes out with a great album.

Kansas, Hawaii and Atlanta unite: Janelle Monae, Bruno Mars and B.o.B. took the stage and performed each of their hits that got them nominated.

The one and only, Mick Jagger performs: Words cannot explain. This moment was truly glorious! Grammys should keep bringing legends such as he is to perform!

Mumford & Sons, Bob Dylan and the Avett Brothers: Another legend takes on the stage, loved the intro by Mumford & Sons.

The Grammys went Country: Lady Antebellum kept going on stage winning awards. Love it! “Need You Now” was definitely one of THE songs of the year.

Aretha Franklin tribute: Best tribute I’ve seen in a while! Magnificent performance by Christina Aguilera, Jennifer Hudson, Martina McBride, Florence Welch and Yolanda Adams. Great way to kickoff the show.

Born This Way: Mother Monster (Lady Gaga) performed her new song, Born This Way. To be honest, I expected more but regardless it was a cool performance. Paws up!

Never Say Never!: Justin Bieber shares the stage with Jaden Smith and Usher. We loved catching a glimpse of Will Smith saying “That’s my baby!” to Jaden!

Which one was your favorite performance? If not mentioned tell me in a comment why it was your favorite!
Who deserved which award? Can’t wait til next year’s Grammy’s suprises!
