Jack White releases two new songs, announces third album

Jack White is preparing to release his first album since 2014 sometime this year, and he’s previewing it with a pair of new tracks

“Respect Commander” and “Connected by Love” are the first two songs to be released from White’s third album Boarding House Reach. The record, which will be issued on his Third Man Records label, currently has no release date.

Boarding House Blues marks White’s first studio album since Lazaretto in 2014. Since the release of that album and his headlining performance at the 2015 Coachella Festival, White has kept a relatively low profile. He appeared on the song “Don’t Hurt Yourself” from Beyonce’s Lemonade album, in the process gaining his first Top 40 single of his solo career.

White will support his new record with two festival headlining spots: Boston Calling in May and the Governors Ball in New York City in June. You can watch the music video for “Connected by Love” and the audio stream of “Respect Commander” below:
