Hear CHVRCHES’ new single “Get Out”

Everyone’s favorite Scottish synthpop group is back with a new song and an album on the horizon.

CHVRCHES premiered their new single “Get Out” this afternoon on the Annie Mac Show on BBC Radio One. The song is the lead single to their as-yet-unnamed third album, their first since 2015’s Every Open Eye.

For the album, CHVRCHES worked with producer Greg Kurstin, who won the Grammy Award for Producer of the Year earlier this week for his work with Sia, Liam Gallagher, Halsey and Foo Fighters. This marks the first time that the band, who produced both of their albums and their debut EP by themselves, have worked with an outside producer. The album does not yet have a release date, but will be issued through their longtime home Glassnote Records.

Since the release of Every Open Eye, CHVRCHES has released a handful of stand-alone tracks, including a new version of “Bury It” featuring Paramore’s Hayley Williams, “Warning Call” from the soundtrack to the video game Mirror’s Edge: Catalyst and a cover of Tegan & Sara’s “Call It Off” recorded for a tribute album.

You can listen to the official audio stream for the song above through Youtube, and listen to a recording of its premiere and Mac’s interview with CHVRCHES singer Lauren Mayberry here. The song is also available to stream on every major platform, and can be purchased digitally from iTunes, Amazon and Google Play.
