Treasure Island Musical Festival is back and announces full lineup

Treasure Island Musical Festival (TIMF) is back for its eleventh year after taking a year-long hiatus and parting ways with the actual Treasure Island location. This time around, TIMF will call Middle Harbor Shoreline Park (MHSP) its new home for years to come.

This year’s headliners include Tame Impala and A$AP ROCKY in addition to other acts: Silk City (Diplo + Mark Ronson), Lord Huron, Santigold, Courtney Barnett, Pusha T, Laff Trax (Toro y Moi + Nosaj Thing), and much more. The weekend full of music, art and entertainment takes place on October 13-14.

Tickets for the festival go on sale Friday, May 18. Anyone interested can choose either 2-day GA or VIP tickets, however, both will be available in limited quantities. Tier 1 GA tickets start at $165 and Tier 1 VIP passes will be $325. Prices will increase ($175 for GA, $335 for VIP) once sold out.

With a lineup mixing both hip-hop and indie rock, TIMF has become one of the Bay Area’s favorite local festival. Jordan Kurland, co-founder of Brilliant Corners Artist Management and Noise Pop Industries, states:

“Since the beginning, we have purposefully put an emphasis on electronic, hip-hop and dance music on Saturday, with more indie and experimental rock on Sunday for Day 2. When planning the future of the fest, our team talked a lot about whether or not this format needed to be updated. Ultimately though, we all came to the realization that this programming is one of the core offerings that makes Treasure Island a truly unique and memorable experience, and that we should stick to it moving forward.”
