Drake reunites the ‘Degrassi’ cast in “I’m Upset” video

Leave it to Drake to give us the ultimate #ThrowbackThursday with his latest video “I’m Upset” which paid a major tribute to Degrassi: The Next Generation. You know, the famous Canadian teen drama Drake was known to star on before he became who he is today. (Shout out to Wheelchair Jimmy!) Within 6 minutes and 31 seconds, Degrassi fans feel major nostalgia as Drake attends his high school reunion featuring all the memorable cast members.

This is definitely not what we expected seeing knowing this track was a direct response to Pusha T. If this is what being upset looks like to Drake… We have completely different definitions of the word.

The video starts off with Drake waking up in the middle of a basketball court after receiving a text about his high school reunion. Cue him getting all dressed up in a suit when the camera pans to Shane Kippel AKA Spinner, Drake’s best friend in the series.

Of course, he’d be the first one to pop up on screen. We’re then taken to Degrassi Community School where we see Nina Dobrev, Stacey Farber, Stefan Brogen, and even Ephraim Ellis! There’s also a cameo appearence from Kevin Smith and Jason Mewes portraying Jay and Silent Bob.

As you already expected, the internet/Twittersphere naturally went crazy.
