Hilary Duff’s New Music Video for “All About You”

Hilary Duff released the music video for her second single off her forthcoming album, “All About You,” last night, and let’s just say I’m loving it.

It’s a much better follow up after her first single, “Chasing the Sun,” which personally didn’t do much for me. However, after taking some time off in music, this song guarantees she’ll slide right back into the success she had with her previous albums.

“All About You” is insanely catchy and shows off the new style that Duff is taking on with this new project. Duff’s vocals make a great combination with the acoustic guitars and instrumentals. The song has a folksy feel to it while the bass track gives it an edge that will inevitably make it get stuck in your head. It’s a song that’s hard not to like, and the lyrics show a bit of a sassier Duff as she sings, “Think you’re all about me, but I’m all about you/Turn the lights down let me show you it’s true/get a little taste of what I’m into!”

I appreciate how Duff is doing something completely different while still coming off unforced and genuine to where she is in life right now. The song shows maturity and a sense of ownership of who Duff has become creatively. Own it, because we are loving it!

The video is fun and lighthearted, as a hipster-looking guy catches Duff’s eye at a coffee shop. Her and her girlfriends go on a hunt to find him, and they also partake in group dance lessons which I totally now want to try with my friends too! And of course, Duff looks as flawless as always.

Here’s to more new music from Hilary Duff, who we all so dearly missed!
