I’ve been a fan of The Kills for years and loved their latest album Blood Pressures. They just released a new video for “The Last Goodbye,” which happens to be my favorite track off the album. Directed by Oscar nominated actress Samantha Morton, we get an up-close, intimate portrait of the duo (Alison Mosshart & Jamie Hince) posing for pictures in a photobooth. The video is also in black and white. With the song’s haunting vocals and classic piano sound, this video totally sets the right tone. It’s simply lovely and arresting in its own way.
