Yesterday, Death Cab for Cutie released its second single, “No Room In Frame,” from the forthcoming album Kintsugi. The track premiered exclusively on NME Magazine and the internet went a little crazy.

Today, the band released the lyric video on their official YouTube page, reaching an even broader audience, and the parade of comments started to flood social media. My favorite remark came on Facebook: “Ben is really pissed off about Zooey Deschanel.”

By now you should know that frontman Benjamin Gibbard married and divorced the lovable star of New Girl and 500 Days of Summer. While separating from your life partner is a difficult event for anyone to go through, I can’t help but think it will serve as creative inspiration for the rock veterans from Seattle, who made a name for themselves by speaking to the melancholy soul.

My favorite lyrics from “No Room In Frame” read, “And how can I stay in the sun when the rain flows all through my veins, it’s true.”

Kintsugi will be released on Tuesday, March 31, 2015 on Atlantic Records. The track list for the album, according to NME Magazine:

“No Room In Frame”
“Black Sun”
“The Ghosts Of Beverly Drive”
“Little Wanderer”
“You’ve Haunted Me All My Life”
“Hold No Guns”
“Everything’s a Ceiling”
“Good Help (Is So Hard To Find)”
“El Dorado”
“Ingenue”
“Binary Sea”

Until we hear of more new releases from the band, feel free to enjoy “No Room In Frame” and “Black Sun.”
