It’s hard not to feel something after hearing BØRNS new track, “The Emotion.” The tune dropped August 19th and is the first single off of the artist’s new album, Dopamine. The indie pop record is to be released October 16th according to frontman Garrett Borns who announced the news on Zane Lowe’s Beats 1 Radio show.
BØRNS’ sound can be described as nothing but utterly mesmerizing. It is comprised of a unique blend of psychedelic and alternative rock with enticing electro-pop components. Producers Emile Haynie and Jeff Bhasker are said to have worked on Dopamine. The record features a couple tracks from BØRNS EP, Candy, including “10,000 Emerald Pools” and “Electric Love,” a track most noted for perking the ears of pop star Taylor Swift.
Borns recent music releases seem to have the people feeling good and no doubt those happy endorphins will be flowing on October 16th.
