Keep Your Eyes Open for New Music from Chvrches

Looks like we’ll be singing praises on a Tuesday.

The synth-pop band, Chvrches, are due to release their eleven-track, sophomore album September 25th and we can’t wait.

After much anticipation, the group’s label, Virgin Records, will release Every Open Eye this fall.  It has almost been a year since Chvrches released the first single off the album, “Get Away.” Critic Emily Mackay of NME describes the new record as “a deep gulp of cold air on a clear, bright morning after.”

Members Iain Cook, Martin Doherty, and Lauren Mayberry are known for incorporating intense beat drops and unpredictable breaks in their tracks. However, Every Open Eye is said to have a much cleaner, more crisp sound to it with less of these harsh elements.

Nonetheless, September 25th is sure to be a day of many blessings. Eleven to be precise.
