Pop rock band Panic! at the Disco brought some holiday cheer in the form of a new music video this morning. The video for “Death of a Bachelor,” the title track from the forthcoming fifth album Death of a Bachelor, was delivered to the band’s newsletter subscribers with a thank you and reminder from Brendon Urie. “Maybe it’s the holiday spirit or maybe it’s the Disney movie, but I just wanted to tell you how much I appreciate you and can’t wait to show you what I’ve been working on,” Urie writes, explaining that he hopes the video will tide everyone over until the album’s January 15 release.

“Death of a Bachelor,” a classy, Sinatra-esque song, gets a slick video treatment to match. The song is about not forgetting the past, but choosing to focus on the present and future. The video is a well executed performance video, featuring Urie singing in an abandoned Monte Carlo club. It’s simple and classic, the perfect match for the song.
