2016 is only a few weeks old, but the year has already seen the deaths of several major figures in the music world, including Glenn Frey, Maurice White, Dale Griffin, Jon Bunch, Paul Kantner, Signe Anderson, Blowfly, Dan Hicks and Pierre Boulez. However, the death that has cast the biggest shadow on the music world over the past few weeks has been that of David Bowie on January 10. It is closing in on a month since the iconic singer’s passing, and tributes, remembrances and discussion of his music have continued.
