Frank Ocean premieres new song “Chanel”

Frank Ocean has debuted his first piece of new music since the twin releases of Endless and Blonde last summer.

The singer debuted the new song, “Chanel” on his Blonded Radio show on Beats 1 radio. A second version of “Chanel” featuring A$AP Rocky was released shortly after.

Aside from being an enjoyable mellow record, “Chanel” is lyrically Frank Ocean’s boldest bisexual statement to date, “I see both side like Chanel/See on both side like Chanel.” A$AP Rocky dug into his love life on the remix by talking about his ex-girlfriend Chanel Iman, “Was such a good guy to Chanel/’Til he caught me sleeping with Charel.”

Ocean will be busy this upcoming summer, as he will be headlining a slew of festivals and is working on the Blonded Radio program. The show premiered Blonded on Apple Music on Feb. 24, with the first show featuring Jay Z. Both artists discussed technology, radio and releasing music.

Catch Blonded Radio on Apple Music’s Beats 1 station from 12 to 2 p.m ET and stream “Chanel” on Apple Music, Tidal and Spotify.
