Dave Grohl announced that he will be going back to America to begin work on a new Foo Fighters album today (February 21).
The frontman has been in the UK to promote his new film Sound City where, while speaking to host James Corden at last night’s Brit Awards, Grohl stated: “I return to Los Angeles tomorrow to start work on a Foo Fighters record.”
Unfortunately, the odds of anyone hearing the album anytime soon look pretty slim as Grohl’s only word regarding a release date was “eventually.” But with the band’s last album having been released back in 2011, this news brings fans something to look forward to in the future.
